People read devotionals with an expectation that God, by His Holy Spirit, will speak directly to them through the writing. I have written literally hundreds of devotional teachings over the past decade, most for Family Life Communications and, more recently, for the Light from the Word and The Upper Room devotional books, and The Presidential Prayer Team’s online devotional series.
